*Turns off airplane mode, Turns on party mode*
Las Vegas, the real city that never sleeps. No matter how many times I visit Vegas every single trip proves to be more exciting than the last. Since the first time I set foot in Sin City back when I was seventeen to the last time I visited this past May I’ve since then figured out the balance to an unforgettable weekend.
Whatever the occasion calls for Vegas will meet its every demand. Thinking back now the only times I’ve ever come to Vegas was for specific events such as trade shows, conventions or boxing matches. This trip in particular was during UFC Fight Week. Both the excitement I get from watching any UFC fight along with traveling to Vegas I knew this trip in particular would be epic.
Flying close over the Las Vegas strip before landing awakens the party animal dormant inside everyone on board. The view of this magical city hidden between the desert mountains amazes me every time. With literally over one-hundred hotels to choose from I must say whichever hotel you do choose truly determines your experience. Having stayed at a few of the major hotels on the strip such as the Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, Aria, Venetian and MGM Grand I can honestly say nothing beats staying at the Wynn.
Dining at Bartolotta Italian restaurant located in our hotel was the best decision for our first nights feast. Literally taking an elevator right downstairs to dinner was the perfect example of why choosing the right hotel matters. Not only is it convenient it saves you time. Waiting in line for a Vegas taxi is a hassle and a half. Until Uber services are no longer banned in Nevada I highly suggest using the hotel private drivers.
Leaving dinner we partied at Tryst also located at the Wynn then ended the night at one of my favorite clubs of all time Drai’s. Partying hard the night before we woke up just in time before room service ended breakfast. The Lobster Benedict was everything, just saying! After breakfast the only thing motivating enough to get us out of the room was a massage. Being the first spa in Las Vegas to receive a Forbes Travel Guide Five Star award I was satisfied beyond my imagination. After a calm sensual massage we were restored and ready to party. Stopping by the pool at Encore Beach Club we enjoyed the wild and craziness of an infamous Vegas pool party. Something about partying during the day by a pool with a cocktail in hand makes life worth living.
Immediately after Encore Beach Club we passed through the shops at Fashion Show Mall before it was time to head to the room and get ready for the main event. Arriving to MGM Grand it felt as if all of Vegas was in attendance to witness this highly anticipated UFC fight. Although my favorite fighter was out over an injury the fight was still amazing. The energy during the show down was like no other. The entire fight I was positioned at the edge of my seat screaming with the crowd. If you’ve never experienced a UFC fight I suggest you attend one soon.
Working up an appetite from all the excitement I enjoyed every bite while having dinner at Hakkasan. Keeping it going we partied at Omni Vegas’s latest nightclub at Caesars Palace. Omni was massive one of the biggest clubs I’ve ever been to. The ambiance, dj and crowd was the epitome of a Las Vegas nightclub.
After such an eventful past two days like any other Sunday it was time to cool down. Enjoying breakfast by the pool we relaxed and gathered ourselves all the while enjoying some sun. Making plans for the remainder of the day we decided on going to see a show. Having trouble making a reservation for Cirque Du Soleil “O” on the way back to the room we paid the concierge a visit. Whenever staying in any hotel I must admit I take full advantage of the concierge services especially when it comes to booking and making reservations. Concierge at any hotel are there to help and usually know all the great restaurants and attractions of your location. Next time you travel be sure to allow the concierge to assist you in some way, I’m sure you won’t regret it. Check out my review on Thaddeus the concierge at the Wynn on Trip Advisor.
Cirque Du Soleil “O” hands down was the best show that I’ve ever attended. Easily it became the highlight of my Vegas trip. After the show held at the Bellagio we walked over to Yellow Tail a restaurant recommended by the concierge. Seated on the patio we had the perfect view of the water fountain show the Bellagio offers. It was the perfect ending to the calm night and even the perfect closing to an amazing weekend.
Out of my many appearances in Vegas this trip in particular was the best. Unlike any of my past visits I feel as if there was a great balance of activities this time around. Vegas can easily drain you after a day or two of its fast paced partying. When done correctly and in moderation I feel like you can experience everything this wonderful city has to offer all in three days or less. Everything from Clubs, Dinners, Pool Parties, Spas, shows and even some gambling. I’m not much of a gambler but I was feeling lucky and managed to win a bit in roulette …Until next time Vegas!
